Dr. Renelle Lim, MD, FACS, is a board- certified, double fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon. At the Institute of Dermatology & Oculoplastic Surgery in Sarasota, Florida, Dr. Renelle Lim provides the best in oculoplastic surgery.

Dr. R. Lim earned her undergraduate degree at Brooklyn College in Brooklyn, New York. She went on to earn her medical degree at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center (SUNY Downstate).

Dr. Lim’s training includes an internship at Mount Sinai, in New York, an ophthalmology residency at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, and ocular oncology and oculoplastic & orbital surgery fellowships at the premiere Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Before her starting the Institute of Dermatology & Oculoplastic Surgery, Dr. Renelle Lim was Director of Ocular Oncology at the Yale Smilow Cancer Center & Oculoplastic Surgery Assistant Professor at the Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut.

Dr. R. Lim has traveled nationally and internationally sharing her experience with other physicians and has numerous peer-reviewed research publications.

Dr. R. Lim enjoys living in Sarasota with her husband and children. She loves to play tennis and travel duirng on her off time. In addition to English, she speaks Spanish and Creole.
